Fugitive of the Week, Justin Michael Paquette, in Custody
Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces the arrest of former Fugitive of the Week, Justin Michael Paquette. Paquette, 35, was wanted on parole violations stemming from an underlying conviction of armed robbery (NH RSA 636:1:III).
Paquette was featured as the Department’s Fugitive of the Week on November 1, 2023. On February 24, 2024, Paquette was arrested by Canaan Police at a residence, following a tip they received. Paquette was taken into custody without incident, and transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections where he is being held on a parole warrant and a Grafton Superior Court warrant for failure to appear stemming from an underlying charge of being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon. The Canaan Police Department was assisted by New Hampshire State Police, and the Enfield Police Department.
The New Hampshire Department of Corrections thanks the Canaan and Enfield Police Departments, and the New Hampshire State Police for their assistance with this case.
The Fugitive of the Week program was launched by the Department of Corrections in March of last year to encourage public assistance in locating individuals who have absconded from supervision. Each Wednesday, the Department shares information on a specific fugitive through various communications platforms, and with law enforcement through the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center.
