Fugitive of the Week, Brandon Michael Bostwick, In Custody

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces the arrest of former Fugitive of the Week, Brandon Michael Bostwick. Bostwick, 35, was wanted on probation violations stemming from an underlying conviction of being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon (NH RSA 159:3).

Bostwick was featured as the Department’s Fugitive of the Week on March 13, 2024. On March 28

, 2024, Cheshire County law enforcement received information from the Brattleboro Police Department that Bostwick may be traveling to an address in Swanzey, NH. Swanzey Police Department located Bostwick at the address provided, where he was taken into custody without incident. Bostwick is currently at Cheshire County House of Corrections awaiting a Probation Violation hearing.

 

Since Bostwick was featured as FOW his supervising officer received several credible tips from the community that aided in this apprehension. The New Hampshire Department of Corrections thanks the Brattleboro Police Department, the Swanzey Police Department, and the public for their assistance with this case.

The Fugitive of the Week program was launched by the Department of Corrections in March of 2023 to encourage public assistance in locating individuals who have absconded from supervision. Each Wednesday, the Department shares information on a specific fugitive through various communications platforms, and with law enforcement through the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center.
