Update to Untimely Death at NH State Prison for Men

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Corrections provides the following update on the untimely death previously announced on April 1, 2024. The resident has been identified as Uno Kim, age 64.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner conducted the autopsy on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, and determined the immediate cause of Mr. Kim’s death to be hypertensive and coronary heart disease. The manner of death was determined to be natural causes.

Mr. Kim was incarcerated on May 29, 2003, for 2 counts of first-degree murder. His maximum release date was August 13, 2202.
