Transitional Housing Unit Resident, Jake Demeritt, Placed on Escape Status

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that minimum-security resident Jake Demeritt, age 37, of the North End House Transitional Housing Unit in Concord has been placed on ESCAPE status as of 2:30 AM on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Demeritt left the North End Transitional Housing Unit at 11:50 AM on Tuesday, April 9 for his shift at a business on Silk Farm Road. He was expected to return by 1:30 AM on Wednesday, April 10 but did not arrive as planned.

Demeritt is described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighing 180 pounds. He has short, brown hair, blue eyes, and a beard. Demeritt has tattoo sleeves on both arms, a tattoo with the word “bang” on the knuckles of his left hand with a fox tattoo on the same hand, tattoos with the words “Rave X” and “hang” on the knuckles of his right hand, and a tattoo with the words “2 stroke” on his neck.  Demeritt was last seen wearing a gray crew neck t-shirt, jeans, and white sneakers.

Demeritt is incarcerated for stalking, violation of a protection order, possession of a controlled drug, and receiving stolen property with a minimum parole eligibility date of June 30, 2024, and a current maximum release date of June 30, 2026.
