Fugitive of the Week, Taylor James Carpentier, In Custody
Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces the arrest of former Fugitive of the Week, Taylor James Carpentier, 30. Carpentier, wanted on a probation violation warrant, was apprehended on December 30, 2024, following a multi-agency effort.
On the evening of December 30, 2024, officers from the Franklin Police Department attempted to make contact with Carpentier in the parking lot of a business in Franklin, NH. Carpentier fled in a vehicle, leading officers on a pursuit that ended in a crash in Tilton, and then ran off on foot.
Carpentier was later apprehended while traveling as a passenger in another vehicle in Franklin. He was taken into custody without further incident.
The New Hampshire Department of Corrections thanks the Franklin Police Department, NH State Police, Tilton Police Department, and Laconia Police Department for their collaboration and assistance in this case.
The Fugitive of the Week program, launched by the Department of Corrections in March 2023, shares information every Wednesday about individuals wanted on active warrants through various communication platforms. It engages the public and law enforcement agencies via the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center. This collaborative approach continues to play a vital role in ensuring public safety and bringing fugitives to justice.
