Fugitive of the Week, Robert Allen Tobin, In Custody

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that Robert Allen Tobin, 48, previously featured as Fugitive of the Week, has been taken into custody.

Tobin was featured as the Fugitive of the Week on February 12, 2025, for probation violations stemming from underlying convictions for Controlled Drug Act (possession).

On March 7, 2025, the Lebanon Police Department arrested Tobin after receiving a call from one of his relatives residing in Lebanon. The relative reported that she did not want Tobin at her residence, prompting officers to respond and take him into custody.

Tobin was transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections, where he is currently being held on preventive detention. An evidentiary bail hearing is scheduled for March 19, 2025, in Grafton Superior Court, with a probation violation hearing expected to follow.

The Fugitive of the Week program, launched by the Department of Corrections in March 2023, shares information every Wednesday about individuals wanted on active warrants through various communications platforms. It engages the public and law enforcement agencies via the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center. This collaborative approach continues to play a vital role in ensuring public safety and bringing fugitives to justice.
