Fugitive of the Week, Norman Robert Chapman, In Custody
Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that Norman Robert Chapman, previously featured as Fugitive of the Week, has turned himself in to the Newport Field Services District Office.
Chapman was wanted on a parole violation, related to an underlying conviction for Dissemination of Private Sexual Images. Chapman was highlighted in the Fugitive of the Week program on Wednesday January 15, 2025, and upon learning he was featured Chapman contacted his probation parole officer to arrange turning himself in. Following that conversation, Chapman surrendered on January 16, 2025.
Chapman is currently being held at Sullivan County Department of Corrections awaiting transportation back to New Hampshire State Prison for Men.
The Fugitive of the Week program, launched by the Department of Corrections in March 2023, shares information every Wednesday about individuals wanted on active warrants through various communications platforms. It engages the public and law enforcement agencies vis the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center. The collaborative approach continues play a vital role in ensuring public safety and bringing fugitives to justice.
