Fugitive of the Week, Jaquelle Lamar Anderson, In Custody

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that Jaquelle Lamar Anderson, 39, previously featured as Fugitive of the Week, has been taken into custody.

Anderson had been highlighted as the Fugitive of the Week on October 2, 2024. He was sentenced to 2-4 years in state prison, fully suspended, and placed on probation for three theft convictions. Anderson absconded from supervision on March 19, 2024, and later failed to appear in court after Probation Parole Officers discovered he had allegedly been selling drugs to fellow probationers. Anderson’s prior convictions include multiple willful concealment charges, numerous thefts by unauthorized taking charges totaling over $100,000 in stolen merchandise, and drug offenses.

On March 6, 2025, at 2:45 p.m., a Massachusetts State Police trooper attempted to stop a rental car with Virginia plates on I-290 East. The vehicle had been flagged in a Be On the Look Out (BOLO) alert, as the vehicle was linked to felony charges in multiple states.

The driver refused to stop, speeding into the breakdown lane. Troopers briefly halted the chase but later reengaged on I-495 North, deploying stop sticks at Exit 67. Despite this, the suspect continued erratically onto Route 62.

With help from the rental car company, police tracked the vehicle to Clinton, MA. Around 3:30 p.m., officers found the suspect hiding in a nearby wooded area and took Anderson into custody.

Anderson is currently being held in Massachusetts awaiting arraignment on 15 arrest warrants from multiple states.

The Fugitive of the Week program, launched by the Department of Corrections in March 2023, shares information every Wednesday about individuals wanted on active warrants through various communications platforms. It engages the public and law enforcement agencies via the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center. This collaborative approach continues to play a vital role in ensuring public safety and bringing fugitives to justice.
